First I’d like to thank Gareth, David and the ASICS team for the inviting me to the programme and hosting an epic weekend. It was a great opportunity to learn about the team goals, meet the team, have fun which included indoor skydiving which was epic, followed by racing at the Manchester Marathon.
I raced in the 2x Marathon Relay with Peter Butler who is a inspiring and a top guy. Checkout an earlier interview I did with him. We came third overall with a sub 3 Hour time, which is a great confidence booster as I head into the Paris Marathon in the coming week.
The UK ASICS FrontRunner team comprises of track runners, marathoners, ultra marathoners, Olympians etc. I met so many amazing athletes during the weekend event, that really inspired me with their dedication and love for the sport. Below are a selection of photos from the weekend.
