As part of my blog, I believe it’s important to share common and similar experiences, and advocate the principles of a sound mind, sound body.
Through the wide reach of Instagram, I’ve been able to connect with Clair who has a great Instagram profile advocating positive mental health as show in her poem titled Mental Madness.
The physical bumps remain,
The emotional wounds have bled,
The worst pains of all?
Were all in my head.
I masked the pain with money,
I masked the pain with booze,
I masked the pain with false love,
A game that I would lose.
It was then I met my soul,
We lay naked on my bed,
This encounter finally taught me
To be best friends with my own head.
